It has received a lot of local and also national interest with RTE televising it on Higher Ground", as one of 8 top new business ideas out of 120 new star up business's in Ireland. The Farmers Journal have printed articles twice, including a full 2 pages on imecofarm in September 2010. Both the Clare Champion and The Clare People, have also covered progress on imecofarm on several occasions, and Eddie Connors, founder of imecofarm, has a fortnightly column in The Clare Champion, giving advice and information on Renewable Energy to the people of Co.
